With over 35 years of experience, Allen Addington has studied under and masterfully blended diverse hair design methods. With a background in precision haircutting even his soft, textured, and lived-in looks keep their shape for months. Also, Allen has an eye for color. As a recipient of the Anthony F. Seeberger Scholarship, he studied painting and design at the influential School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and brings the critical vision of an artist to each individual. In addition, as an artist/painter Allen was featured on duranduran.com and Nick Rhodes said Allen’s paintings are “refreshing and inspiring.” However, what clients regard most is Allen’s calm, meditative personality and soothing shampoos. He studied massage therapy at The Cortiva Institute of Chicago and is Reiki certified. Above all, Allen believes in meticulous craftsmanship and individual suitability.
