Please welcome Salon HEX’s new co-apprentice, Abby! She is new to the chair and ready to dive right into the salon world!

While comfortable with and excited about all styles, Abby specializes in razor cuts, hair art, artistic makeup, and outside the box styles! She welcomes complicated services like color corrections and loves taking on challenges. She looks forward to not only meeting all of the unique clients she has yet to work with, but also the collaborative process that awaits her at every appointment.

Born and raised in a small town north west of Chicago, Abby looks forward to continuing to bring the style and culture of chicago’s alternative scene to the suburbs through her training at Salon HEX. 

She is heavily influenced by many alternative subcultures and loves to talk about music with clients. She is not limited to just alternative sub-genres, but loves so many different types of music and is heavily involved in the local hardcore punk music scene. Ask her about some of her favorite artists and local bands! 

Her music taste manifests itself a lot in her makeup and style, resulting in gothic, horror, and emo themes. Abby’s passion for makeup lead her to being a finalist in the IBI makeup competition! She’s always looking to do unique and artistic makeup looks.

Abby is very excited to join the Salon HEX family and we are even more excited to have her!
