I have been a hairstylist, educator, and platform artist for decades. Growing up I watched my mother do my grandma’s hair. She would cut her hair with a razor and thinning shears, add some Roux Rinse, and set in rollers. After sitting my grandma under the hood dryer and with a bit of backcombing, she would have 10x the hair! That was all it took to hook me! I was fearless and cutting hair at age 10.
